Last year, while attending the expo at the Chicago Marathon, as the guest of Marathon & Beyond magazine to do a book signing, publisher Jan Seeley introduced me to Matt Johnson of Runner Academy.  What a nice program he has, a website, coaching, podcasts and more.  I’ve subscribed to his podcasts and I’ve found them really informative.  He provides coaching advice on training and competing, he produces thought-provoking interviews with a broad spectrum of people in the running world, and he appeals to an equally broad spectrum of runners from novice to elite.

So it was my absolute pleasure to be the guest on his show, which as Matt Johnson emailed me this morning:

Good Morning Jacqueline,

The podcast episode went live overnight and is available everywhere podcasts are heard. It is also posted to our website at http://runneracademy.com/ra048-jacqueline-hansen

    1. Thank you Peg! I think you’ll find that it puts a voice to some of the stories you have read in the book.
Another listener wrote in that she found it “compelling…” and “fabulous…”. So I sure hope you enjoy it too.
The interview was terrific fun in the process!
Good luck, your training sounds awesome. Keep up your good work.
      Love, Jacqueline

  1. I listed to this interview yesterday while running a marathon distance here in Germany during the events of the Boston Marathon. It was both emotional and inspiring to hear your stories, especially your thoughts on the Boston Marathon. Great interview!

    1. As I emailed Emma, be sure to listen to an additional podcast on Runner Academy with a recap, live from Boston on Marathon Monday. What a day! I will post it in the next blog entry.
